EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE PLACE:
Kraton
of Yogyakarta sultanate (Keraton Kasultanan
Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat) is a Javanese Monarchy in the province of Special
Region Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is located in the center of the axis streching
from the north to the south, and in the secondary axis from the east to the
west. Kraton of yogyakarta is encircled by row if the mountains called the
horizon as the border of the universe.This place is also become the one of the
tourist attractions in Yogyakarta. The complex consist of a number of low-lying
buildings such as audience halls, museums, and the residences of sultan and the
queen.
COMMENTS ABOUT THE PLACE:
Yogyakarta
is the cultural city with the various object of tourist destination, and the
most popular object of tourism is the keraton of yogyakarta. When I came to kraton of yogyakarta for the firs time, I’ll feel like be in the empire
in the past, because the structure and order of the kingdom still consistent
with ancient history of the javanese culture. It is very intersting for me to
know more about the history and learn
more about the culture and tradition. first, when I was arrived at yogyakarta palace, the chanting in
javanese ancient language is heard being sung by a palace servant. Javanese
songs sound slowly and so harmonize with the gamelans rhythm.
In other side, Inside the palace complexs, I can see the activity
of servants and the various kinds of properties collection of art, relief and
the sculptures of traditional java. From the miscellaneous collection of arts,
there is one of the most interesting object and also as a mistically object it
is the picture of yogyakarta sultanate. Not only the picture, I feel amazed to
see a luxurious sacred carriage known as Kanjeng Nyai Jimat, and its partner
Kyai Jongwiyat. I’m so glad to come to yogyakarta
palace because the culture, tradition and the people are friendly. Visiting yogyakarta palace enrich my knowledge
also will provide both valuable and memorable experience.
